Highland City staff recognize that your quality of life depends upon our ability to provide reliable public utility services, such as sewage removal, to our residents. Highland City partners with Timpanogos Special Service District (TSSD) to remove, treat and dispose of all residential and commercial wastewater. We proactively clean all 90 miles of sewer line throughout the City every 1 to 1-1/2 years. You may have seen us in your neighborhood, either using the TSSD jet truck, or our Highland City jet truck.
Since the City pays TSSD for the treatment of all effluent that goes down the sewer, it is important that we address aging sewer lines where infiltration of ground water is occurring.
