The annual Highland City Spring Clean-Up will take place at the parking lot at the mouth of American Fork Canyon on May 2nd & 3rd, 2025. The dumpsters will be available both days between the hours of 9am - 5pm.
Please bring proof of residency.
Dumpsters will be available to dispose of metal, wood, and most household waste.
Due to increasing restrictions on landfill restrictions and the need to not fill up the cans too quickly or with too heavy of items, the following items will not be accepted:
- Refrigerators
- Stoves
- Washers
- Dryers
- Microwaves
- Televisions
- Computer Monitors
- Mattresses
- Tires
- Batteries
- Paint in its liquid form
- Flammables
- Green waste
- Rock
- Concrete
- Asphalt
- Dirt
A front-end loader will be there to move heavy items from the ground into the dumpster.
Green Waste and Household Hazardous Waste should be taken directly to North Point Solid Waste Transfer Station.
