Goudy

Catherine Myrtle Beverly Llewelyn Goudy

Her Church membership record arrived in 1935 with no other family members. She was born December 10, 1897, in Salt Lake City to Hopkin E. and Margaret H. Evans Llewelyn. She married John Jordan Goudy July 21, 1920, and in 1930 they were living in Pleasant View, Utah. John was born November 18, 1895, in Mt. Vernon, Iowa to J. Milo and Emma Pott Goudy. He served in the U.S. Navy from August 21, 1917, to May 21, 1919. They had five children: John Lynn, Verne Evans, Donald Ray, Cheri, and Duane. In 1940 they were living in Ashton, Idaho. John died March 5, 1951, in Santaquin, Utah and Catherine died there May 27, 1960. They are buried in the Santaquin City Cemetery.
